Bernard Borghei
Chief Executive Officer
Bernard Borghei is the Chief Executive Officer of Symphony Towers Infrastructure, a leading owner, operator, and manager of wireless telecommunications infrastructure. He was appointed CEO of Symphony Wireless in April 2024, and in January 2025, following a strategic combination of Symphony Wireless with CTI Towers—both Palistar Capital portfolio companies—the newly formed entity was rebranded as Symphony Towers Infrastructure (Symphony Towers) under his leadership.
With three decades of experience in the wireless telecommunications and infrastructure industry, Mr. Borghei has played a pivotal role in building and scaling major telecom infrastructure companies. Before Symphony Towers, he co-founded Vertical Bridge REIT, the largest privately held telecom infrastructure REIT in the U.S., where he served as Executive Vice President of Operations from 2014 to 2022. He spearheaded initiatives in operational efficiency, engineering, regulatory compliance, and sustainability, leading Vertical Bridge to become the world’s first carbon-neutral tower company. Under his leadership, the company was acquired in 2021 by CDPQ and DigitalBridge for nearly $7.5 billion.
Prior to Vertical Bridge, Mr. Borghei held leadership positions at Global Tower Partners, where he oversaw market operations and new site development across the Americas. The company was acquired by American Tower in 2013 for approximately $5.5 billion. His earlier career includes executive and senior management roles at major wireless operators and infrastructure firms, including Omnipoint Communications, Triton PCS, Western Wireless International, WFI, TruePosition, and SkyBitz, spanning North America, South America, and EMEA.
Beyond his executive leadership, Mr. Borghei is an advocate for innovation and education in the wireless industry. He serves on the advisory boards for the Villanova School of Engineering and its Engineering Entrepreneurship program and is a board member of FreshWave Group, a UK-based telecom infrastructure company. He previously chaired the Endowment Committee for the Tower Family Foundation.
Mr. Borghei holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
